Optical filters are used to select or reject a desired wavelength. MLOptic offers a wide range of optical filters including band pass, cut-off, neutral density, and reflective types which are able to meet diverse customer requirements. Polarization beamsplitters are an optical element which transmits p-polarization and reflects s-polarization. MLOptic’s cube beam splitters consist of a pair of precision right-angle prisms cemented together to minimize wavefront distortion. Our beam splitters are designed so that the p-polarization and s-polarization components of the incident light have similar spectral characteristics. The matching between the s-polarization and p-polarization components is within 10%.

A waveplate is an optical device that can produce optical path differences (or phase differences) between two mutually perpendicular optical vibrations. Zero-order wave plates are not sensitive to temperature and have phase delay characteristics. Quarter and half waveplates are available through MLOptic.
